my beagle puppy is so stubborn! I hate it cuz I don’t trust him out of his cage and he’s been in and out of his crate for about a month now. he is turning 5 months old tomorrow.. and I’ve been crate training him for the past month. i have a big family that takes him on walks a lot and plays with him.. but i hate leaving him in his cage while my family is just chilling in the house. i have heard beagles take longer to house break than other dogs.. and its kinda scarring me! how long did it take you to house break you beagle puppy?
and do you think beagle puppies are more stupid than other dogs?? why the hell don’t they catch on easier!

ya, know… my fam is basically doing it all the right way. we take him right out side every time we take him out of his cage.. and of corse before bed time.. and no he does not have a doggy door to go outside. our other dog would just bark or wag his tail by the door when he had to go to the bath room. and no i really didn’t know anything about the breed before i impulsively bought him at the pet store
There are many pet stores across the country, aside from the egregious national chain to remain nameless, that sell puppies. Other than protesting the store, what are steps someone can take to help kindly persuade the store owner to change their business model to adoption-friendly? If you have any sources, please cite them.
i don’t have a springer and i wouldn’t own a beagle. i have had a rottweiler from 1978 to 1990 and i know have a boston terrier i got in 1999 and he is still going strong. he is a great dog. but he is not much of a winter buddy cause he hates the cold. but he makes a great foot warmer when you get back inside.
