Get the dog fixed before 6 months of age.
6 months is a good age to get him fixed and 2 years is the healthy age for them to produce puppies however they will start humping your leg and such at around 5-6 months .best of luck to you and your new puppy.
It depends on the breed. As a general rule of thumb, the smaller the breed, the earlier it will be able to breed. Some are fertile before the age of 6 months.
I suggest getting him spayed as soon as the vet will let you, normally 6 months of age.
Oh my, BAD idea.
You’re going to get ripped to shreds here.
Get your dog neutered at 9 months old (that’s what my state suggests as the age they should be altered by).
They can probably make babies at 6 to 8 months old. Keep an eye on him.
At 6 months they are ready for breeding but can actually breed as soon as the testies drop which is normally around 12 weeks. Waiting to get him neutered isn’t going to help with his growth. Normally the dog actually grows bigger. I had my dog done at 12 weeks and trust me it did not stunt his groth at all in fact my vet said it actually helped with the growth process and your dog will be healthier in the long run. Good luck
I agree with the first poster–before 6 months. I’d ask the vet what he or she recommends.
They usually say 6 months, but ask your vet what his/her guidlines are on the subject.
we don’t need any more dogs running around~!
