Take the dog with you everywhere you go.
Introduce her to all kinds of people. From babies, to the elderly. Have her meet all kinds of dogs, and other cats.
Have her used to walking outside, seeing car sand buses. Iver all Take the puppy every where possible.
Usually, by 16 weeks, the puppy should be socialized to everything it will encounter in its adult life.

I hope this helps! Good Luck!
Say your shopping at PetSmart, take your puppy with you. Take him to the park, everywhere you go so he gets used to people and hopefully other dogs.
Walks in populated areas such as parks, busy streets, etc. Pretty much anywhere there will be alot of people. I would walk my dog around parks so kids would come up and pet it. He has no problems with strangers a lick anyone to death that comes over to visits.
In my opinion for a dog to be socialized I think it means no aggresive problems towards strangers. Like for us to be socialized it’s to adapt to any situation or to any kind of person.
Take it with you as often as you can. Let him be around other people as often as you can. Don’t keep him away from the world by keeping it inside the house or tied up somewhere. He is your best friend.
Once your pup has had all the puppy vaccinations and shots:
Take your pup for frequent walks in populated but safe areas.
Take him/her to pet friendly shops
Enroll in a puppy class and/or a beginner obedience class where there are other dogs in a controlled environment.
When your pup is a bit older, try visiting a dog park on a day where there are other dogs of the same age/height. Many off-leash parks will have websites with members of the parks that are able to post. This way you could arrange a date for pups.
Take him everywhere! Even if its just a short car ride. Take him to puppy obedience to learn to scialize with other dogs and the dog park. Take him in dIfferent houses and to the pet store. Just take him anywhere you go. Camping is a great way to socialize as well.
Socializing isn’t what most think it is. It isn’t taking the puppy to “puppy classes” and letting it play with other dogs.
It is exposing the dog to as many different experiences as possible. That means, taking it wherever you go (obviously, not places frequented by other dogs before vaccinations are completed though). It is crucial during this “socialization” period to introduce the dog to all kinds of different sights, sounds, smells, etc.
Take it down by the train station to see and hear the train go by; take it for a drive during a thunderstorm; take it to a baseball field when a game is going on, etc.
Obviously, its genetics will play a role in whether or not the puppy turns into a timid adult, but a well-bred dog will do well if socialized properly. The Rottie in my avatar is a well-bred dog who was socialized correctly while she was a puppy. She doesn’t freak out when fireworks are going on, or there is a thunderstorm. In fact, she often sleeps through them!
