We using the song that is in this video, hope youtube doesnt jump down my throat for posting it, but that is the song we are going to use, so whatever. I trained my dog using only treats, toys and praise, I NEVER use +P : corrections, reprimands, saying ‘no’ or ‘eheh’. You can see Splash’s enthusiasm to play my ‘games’. I left in some parts where I give her treats because we are still working on the routine, when she performs she performs with NO rewards in a public place full of distractions. The dancing and tricks BECOME the reward when you pair them with reinforcers and get the dog to WANT to do what you want your dog to do!
