I agree? with not ‘taking’ the object from her. Your method can apply in this instance but I cannot see how it would with other things. For example, my girls don’t take my socks or etc because I have claimed them. But what for dog’s who are opportunists? My personal view is that I can claim things, even if when in their mouth and they”ll hand it over, understanding it is to be used on my terms or as you put it, knowing the rules of the game.

so on my training sessions with? my dog, she like food rewards as well as toy rewards but sometimes when we get into the training and she wants to play she gets aggresive and starts biting me, i dont know what to do then so i just stop the session is there any advice you can give me?
awesome? vid zac
@greenduality I don’t know if this will help, but I teach my dogs “leave it” and they will drop whatever they have in their mouth including food. If I want them to give me? something (as returning a ball, etc) I say “Give. (or “Give it” if you prefer.) Works fine.
where do you buy your frisbees?? my dog has the same issue and will sit there and chew the frisbee till it breaks. wat frisbee would u recommend
Zak, not sure if you read all the comments. But I found your channel after looking for Border Collie training videos. I fell in love with your trio, partly because their behavior reminds me of my Jolene. Anyways, just wondering what do your dogs eat? They seem to be happy and healthy and you obviously have tons of first hand knowledge. Could you name some? brands you’d recommend? Or maybe post a video on dog nutrion and diet? Thanks!
@BasedSwaggedAG Australian Shepherd?
Indi is absolutely adorable? and reminds me so much of my dog…except not as well behaved
TIMING IS EVERYTHING!! Yes, Zak, you are so right. Remember Pavlov? He gave the dog(s) powdered meat within 5 seconds of ringing the bell in order for them to? associate the two events.
what is the name? of this breed?
Hi! Just wondering, how would one train their dog to stay with them/not run away? when going for a walk? Like walking with your dog without a leash.
Hi Zak, I have recently bought an Indigo Dog house for my 1 year old? Jindo and I have tried putting treats and meat inside the house? but only puts his neck in there. I know I’m supposed to teach? my dog with positive reinforcement but I really just want to push my dog in there. What is your solution to this?

I would like drop it to mean to literally drop whatever they have in their mouth. Leave? it and drop it are two different things and I feel like you only taught leave it here. I really would like to know how to get a dog to drop something from out of its mouth especially if it can choke on something. :/
I have a puppy and it really helped her thanks zack!?
I bet most of your fans dont actually have dogs
Like moi!? =D
Hey, I know you have mentioned you don’t like normal dog parks? for the rare occasion of an aggressive dog, (or dog fight) correct? How long has it been since your dogs interacted around other groups of dogs? Where do you find these empty parks all the time? And, have any of your dogs ever had a problem interacting respectfully with other dogs, despite their high level of training??
i love how your? dog pays attention
Great video
?
Ur dog is so cute!?
Hey, I love your videos and your approch to dogs. I have a question for you, it would be amazing if you could answer it. I have a two year old dog and today when i got home from school she seemed very nervous. She was alone for about an hour but is usually fine. She was happy to see me, as usual, at first, but shortly after she seemed quite unsure. she has been shaking every know and then? and took ages to settle after her walk. If you have tips on what i could do to help her that would be great
