What am I supposed to do if my dog is only? interested in biting the stick and chewing on it?
He’s way too excited
)
how much does a clicker cost
‘?
It depends a bit on your dog, but generally try to? keep sessions short and sharp – 5 minutes is a good starting point.
Good luck with your dog.
how long? should the training sessions last?
omg i just realized my dog reacted at your clicker, and expected a treat? :p
Hi There,? I’m not exactly sure whether this would work when training your Cat. I assume it would but I don’t have any experience working with Cats.
Good luck with your Cat.
can i teach my cat to play dead and do? stick training?
Good question! Targeting can be used to teach dogs all kinds of basic? as well as advanced behaviors. Targeting can used to teach a dog to heel, to turn off light switches, close drawers and doors, etc. It is also useful as a re-focusing behavior to help calm anxious dogs.
Good until adding the cue – at first the cue should be added while the dog is touching the target? stick. Then, just as the dog touches the target stick, and finally just before the dog touches the stick.
Once your dog is familiar with the target stick you can then begin to teach some cool dog tricks. You will be? utilizing “targeting”.

What’s the point of “Target Stick? Training?”
Hi There,
Yes sure thing you can make a target stick no problem.
Even a pencil will? do the trick or a short garden stake.
can? you make a target stick?
where did you get the? target stick?
Hi,
Macy is 4 years old.
I started her on the target stick when she was 2. There’s no reason why you can’t start your? dog off at a much younger age though – it’s never too early.
Thanks for your question.
hi, just wondering how old is your shih tzu and how long do you train her on the target? stick? thanks
An afferpinscher would be a good choice.
The most important things to consider when selecting a puppy are that you purchase from a reputable and respected breeder who cares for the health and wellbeing of his/her puppies.
Plus you then must provide all the puppy socialization and training required for your puppy to grow to be a well balanced and trusted? member of society.
Good luck when you get your puppy.
Do you reccommend and toy dog breeds?
I was thinking afferpinscher!!! I’m getting a dog soon. Its gotta e a? toy dog though?
Yes of course!
A dog is never too old to learn new tricks – unless there is a physical reason? why your dog can’t perform the trick.
Older dogs do great when learning tricks and if you haven’t used clicker training methods before, I’m sure your dog will love it!
All the best with your dog.
my french puddle toy is 7 years? (human) old can she still learn?
