Pause at 1:42 lol its small medium and then large
@6446Zach dude foxes are less dangerous than dogs such as germen shepherd they why they are not allowed with children.
@6446Zach can we have a fox if we have an adult and a child
What a gorgeous creature! This is the first pet fox I’ve seen that actually acts like a pet. Was he very hard to train?
why do you keep a harness on him?
i love your fox but im a husky fan dont get me rong your balto is so cute and all but huskys have more of an appeal for me XD
Balto is soooooo cute! And huge I thought Artic Foxes were much smaller. He seems a very sweet animal
It suddenly became an Arctic Fox vs Beagle clip
Most normal vets will not see a fox because they are considered an exotic and the vet has to be licensed and certified to care for them, so you need to make sure you have an exotics vet picked out before purchasing your kit.
You CAN NOT cage them for long periods like a dog. If they must be confined for whatever reason it should be in a large space, preferably an outside enclosure. It must have a roof to prevent them from climbing out (they are exceptional climbers), some sort of floor connected to the walls or the walls must be burried in the ground to prevent them from digging under and getting out.
Balto is one of few pet foxes who are that tame. Most of them are very food aggressive, if not neutered their urine smells like skunk. They are often difficult to train at best. If you can get them to use a litter box it will not be 100% of the time. They mark everything, can get into about anything, and will tear your house to ribbons if not properly looked after.
I have an arctic fox. His name is Houdini. I live in MI, where I purchased him from a breeder in my state. For all of you who want one as a pet, foxes are NOTHING like your domesticated pets. I have lots of experience with wild and exotic animals, as I have owned many and rehabilitate many more.
Forget what i said… jsut saw the other comment, but would u suggest buying a tom or a vixen? with the dominance issue?
A literal fox and the hound friendship hu?
how much did you buy him for? I live in indiana and found a breeder and they are 600. do you keep him in or outside. and overall how is day to day behavior
Balto is so cute!!! I want a fox!!!
