My puppy who is 12 weeks old and he keeps biting the leash, what should I do?? Please help!!
just over seven weeks ago i got a tri merle border collie puppy when she herself was 7 weeks i let her settle in for about 3 or 4 days then i started training basics like sit lie down and stay whle potty trraining she is now fourteen weeks and knows sit, liedown, paw, high five, stay, come, roll over, beg and she always know what her ball and frisbee are called so when we say the name of one she goes and gets it u can see her and my 2 bullmastiffs on my channel x
I think getting a puppy, because the puppy may needs training & reinforcement that they are doing the right thing, but I think they will be more willing to learn and have fun and eventually be more loyal to you in the long run. You are like there parent, there mommy or daddy and they trust that you take care of them.
An older dog may have been trained by someone else or may have never been trained and refuse to learn because they have been used to living with no rules.
hey Zak… how about a tutorial on teaching your dog to “smile”???
The age doesn’t really matter – Just break hell loose to make sure it is a rescue dog!!!! Even if you fancy a specific breed it is most likely to find such a dog in a shelter. On FB a lot of shelters/pounds post pictures of the dogs they have available for adoption. And there are a lot of breed specific rescue organizations too.
Some dogs even know how to read!
aww mine have 9 weks
8 people dont have a dog!
I have 2 dogs and none of them are interested in playing frisbee. Only one of them at the beginning but then he got bored of chasing it. And once I threw it and brought it back he would keep it in his house and growl at me whenever I tried and take it off from his mouth. After a while from throwing the frisbee he got bored of it and was going after my hand and trying to bite it. My other dog just watches the frisbee and she feels like running to it but she stops and she just follows me where ev
2) When I take him outside he gets easily distracted and starts eating unwanted things.. is there any way I can make him stop that?
3) Can please teach me how to make him bend on his front feet while continue to stand on the hind feet… more like a BOW DOWN trick?
4) I saw your neat tricks with collies, like jumping on your back and standing still… can you make a few vids on complex tricks too?
Hope to hear from you,
Thanks a lot!
Hi,My dog is 7 years old.He loves to go out for walks/runs but when i go out to play he never seems to get into it.I try everything to get his attention on the tennis balls,Frisbees,Tug ropes or just running around and he kind of sits there.BUT once i get the leash or mention the word “Walk” He is up and running. Also once we are out he starts to get tired around 1-2 Kilometres so i can only go about 1 kilometre because he will get tired coming home. Can you help me get him interested in playing ?
Hi could any one give me some tips on how to train my border collie puppy to do some tricks, i`m new at this, thanks
@PORKYROXX you should never hit your dog, a firm no should do the trick.
Really good advise. I always say that dogs scan understand us if we teach them to, but if we don´t teach them to, then they won´t be able to understand us.
puppy if you got tons of times!!!!, y didnt i seen it before i got my dog? the weird thing is that i got my dog the same day u uploaded this vid o.0.
my dog know about 30 to 40 words only about 10 of them are tricks. like it matter..
the “problem” with my dog, is not how many words could she understand, because: if u been with ur puppy for long enough it will do whatever u want before u even think about it, they magic at times.
american eskimo can read my brain. jk lol peace
thanks for helping
Yea my dog is 1 years old called LC but it thinks it is realy small because we have another little dog called Peppy like 8 years old but he half the size of LC and she always jump on me and she is affraid of brooms, ,balls what should i do to not be affraid of then and not jump on me?
@PORKYROXX every time you catch him pick him up and say no but dont like scream at him tehn put him otuside and youmight have to go otu with him for a little while but take no notice of him and i havee never heard of that i think that would only happen if you beat your dogs if you jstu smaked them which alot of ppl do then no

i compete with my dog
How would you define heavy running? I have a border collie that’s 8 months, and spend on average about an hour a day exercising him. From Fetch with Frisbee’s and tennis balls, to trail running, to hiking trails. I keep my dog very very active. But I’ve kinda wondered if this will end up having a negative effect later on down the road. I’ve heard and read that you should even start playing games with him where it involves jumping till 14 months, but isn’t this more breed specific?
mister zak my dog is very lazy and how kan i train him to be strong and brave
U are cool! I’ve just subscribed! Im gonna check out all your videos
hey zac, how can i correct my dog when he uses the restroom inside the house?
Also, is it true that dogs get more violent when they start hitting them?
