check with ur vet cause u should get watevr food and stay with it its not good to change keep it on one think talk to ur vet about whats best and keep it
Well, my vet told me to moisten my puppies food and mix it with a little canned food. I use either Evo, Nature’s Variety Instinct or Merrick’s Before Grain and Evo canned. Both my puppy and dog are thriving on it. Their teeth are fine even the seven yr old, teeth have to be brushed at home and monitored by your vet. Give your vets office a call, I’m sure the nurse will tell you what your vet recommends.
soaked dry food, soak in cold water in the refrigirator, thus it keep fresh and dont get sour
they dont have the best teeth at that age, + they tend not to know their limits on how much to eat, and have problems drinking enough, thus you make sure they dont bloat and get enough fluid
also a + to heat the food slightly in the micro for them, they got a relativly large body surface and more easily loose heat when so small (all small animals do), the food should only be like the same temp as your skin though
that prevent them from using their own body heat to heat it up to the same temperature as their stumock is
dry food. wet or canned food is bad for their teeth.
A 7-week old can eat dry kibble if that is your preference.

Dry food is better for for their teeth. Make sure that you feed a good quality of of dog food.
soft food so they wont hurt their teeth or gums
try wetting the dry food for now, just don’t leave it setting out and only put down enough for one feeding at a time so it doesnt sit and get nasty.
then you can gradually add less and less water to the food.
