It’s great you are making videos on how to train your dog. For all the talking you did only about 1 minute was relevant to the title of the video.
is it possible to teach a small dog to play with a full size frisbee? like a toy boodle or a Shih tzu?

how can i get my dog to even like frisbee? i throw the ball and she will jump 3 feet in the air the caught it., so i think she would love frisbee, but how can i get her to give it a chance?

this was some wonderful advice for those inexperienced people, yes, like me, who’s dogs seem to determine where the frisbee gets thrown. Something I will be working on starting today.

i taught my whippets to not bite down hard on the disc. they go through about 1 per month. maybe its not as easy to teach a Border… not sure. i wouldnt be surprised if borders are harder to teach that.
WE should be happy he still finds time to answer people’s emails. I guarantee he couldn’t develope the bond with his dogs like he has if he didn’t have a big heart. Dogs are smarter than us when it comes to things like this..they can’t be tricked by media games or politics. P.S.- If u don’t respond to this Zak I hate you..lol. That was called sarcasm people-like jokes. You guys need to chill,lighten up,and kik back and laugh at the amazing talent Zak and his lil friends bring to the world.

Just becuz he doesn’t answer you the first,fifth,or never doesn’t mean he’s a jerk or suffers from acute narcism. The guys runnin ragged all over doin shows,t.v. shows,demos,training others dogs as well as practicing with his….not to mention finding time for himself and his family.
Zach, not sure if you actually read this…if you are worried about the wind ruining your videos, put some Scotch Tape over the microphone. It keeps the wind noise out, but still picks up all most all sounds. Try it, it works on race cars.
Hey Zak, I need your help:
I’m getting a two month old shih tzu in a couple of days and wanted to train him a few basic things. But i looked through your videos and didn’t see any that showed the simple “sit” position. Maybe i just missed it. This isn’t my first dog, but first in a while. If you have any quick tips or “words of wisdom” for this breed or just puppies in general please let me know!

I have a request for u. I have a 1 year westie and i have a problem with her. Whenever someone comes to my house she stars jumping over the visitor and i can’t stop her. This is my first dog so i have no experience on teaching a dog. i would love if u could tell me a few tricks to stop that behaviour.

My Miniature Collie has separation Anxiety too. When my mom leaves the house, he howls and paces around the floor. I’ve been training him though. He barks and runs over to my mom when he hears her keys jingle.
I have a treeing feist, and she constantly digs up our back yard, is there a way to stop this, i show her attention, but the problem is i cant catch her in the act, i see it through the window, but as soon as i step outside she comes to me, how might i go about preventing the digging?
