Doggie Birthday Party – Honey the Great Dane’s 6th Birthday

www.bighoneydog.com / Honey the Great Dane celebrates her 6th birthday with a big party for all her friends! Our lovely trainer, Flip Calkoen (www.flipstopdog.co.nz) let us use his training centre for the party and we had a fantastic time playing some fun training games inspired by Ian Dunbar’s “K9 Games”, followed by home-made “banana & peanut butter doggie birthday cake” which all the dogs enjoyed…especially Cinnamon the Beagle who couldn’t gobble up her piece fast enough! Can’t beat the Beagles when it comes to food! Fantastic day!

@kramerfan321 – Thanks for your nice words! I just Googled “dog birthday cake” and found lots of recipes online and then combined a couple of them – I can’t remember exactly – I think it had peanut butter & banana & honey – and I shaped the dough into a bone using foil. The icing was made of yoghurt & cream cheese and “Honey” was written with Marmite. Then I just added some dog biscuits. Good luck!
What a fun party!! Honey is awesome! Can you tell me the ingredients of the cake? All the dogs seemed to really enjoy it. Thanks to Honey and her humans for all the wonderful videos.
