Recorded February 25, 2009. After leaving Ushuaia, Argentina we continued our sail in the Beagle Chanel. In the Chilean territory at about sunset we passed four beautiful glaciers, all four were named after European countries. The first of the series was L’Allemand, or Germany. Next was Italy and I lost track of the names after that. The vistas here were absolutely spectacular. High, sculpted mountains coming down through shrubbery and close grass mantles to the water, with rushing, tumbling streams everywhere from the melting ice caps and glaciers. From: timvp.com
